Super Cute Superheroes With Not So Super Part Time Jobs


In today’s economy, even superheroes need part-time jobs on the side to survive. It seems that saving the world doesn’t bring home the bacon anymore and illustrator Chow Hon Lam adorably designs these mega stars in the daily grind. Darth Vader uses his light saber to trim the hedges as a landscape laborer, Cat woman catches mice as an exterminator, while Spiderman uses his webs to make tennis rackets.

Playgrounds Around The World


Photographer James Mollison employs thought-provoking concepts which challenge us to expand our social and environmental world views. We covered his well received book, “Where Children Sleep” in 2011. Now he has released a book which revolves around the playground. Mollison has fond and powerful childhood memories of these places, and he wondered how the playground experience had affected others around the world. “It had been a space of excitement, games, bullying, laughing, tears, teasing, fun, and fear,” Mollison writes in the afterword of his latest book, “Playground.”

Dear Data: Two Women Track Personal Data on Postcards and Ship Them Across the Atlantic


Giorgia Lupi and Stefanie Posavec have only met twice in person, but they’re quickly getting to know each other through weekly postcards and a mutual obsession for tracking things. Their endearing year-long project “Dear Data” sees the pair sending postcards from New York to London and back – each with a week’s worth of personal data on the front and instructions for reading that data on the back.
