Google Creates Time-Lapse Videos Automatically From Random Pictures on the Internet


Google and the University of Washington are creating what could be the future of DIY timelapses. Using millions of publicly shared images from popular geotagged landmarks around the world and a process the researchers call “timelapse-mining,” they are able to stitch together near seamless sequences of our changing world.
